Jeep Jam Eureka Springs 2026: Dates, Trails, and the Saturday Parade

The official Jeep Jam site will show you that this jeep rally is four days of scenic rides through the Ozarks, dirt trail adventures, a Jeep show, and a parade through Eureka Springs’ historic downtown on Saturday, September 12.

The trail rides aren’t the only jeep events on the schedule. The organizer’s Eventbrite listing also includes Jeep Bingo, scavenger hunts, vendor exhibits, live music, and a Lighted Night Cruise, with a Sunday poker run finishing over lunch at Horseshoe Grill. There’s enough happening across the four days that Jeep Jam doesn’t depend on being on a trail from morning to night.

This year, the event benefits Peterson Outdoors Ministries: a Missouri-based ministry “dedicated to providing faith-based outdoor recreational therapy for veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and youth and adults with disabilities or life-threatening illnesses.” If you’re inviting a friend, that might be a detail worth sharing.

I think what’s special about this event that makes it stand out from other car weekends here, is that it actually goes trailing off-roads. The guided rides use the surrounding Ozarks as part of the weekend festivities. Then, Saturday’s parade brings all the Jeep enthusiasts back through our historic downtown.

One thing to note and prepare for when you arrive: Jeep owners collect rubber ducks on their dashboards, and the code says you never buy your own. Somebody hands you a duck because your rig earned it. So bring a few ducks in cool outfits and gift them to the owners of your favorite builds. It is the fastest friendship in the Ozarks.

The event is four days total and runs from Thursday, September 10 through Sunday, September 13, 2026. If there’s one day you should make it, I’d have it be Saturday for the parade downtown.

Don’t think you have to arrive in a Jeep to join the celebration and watch the parade either. With or without a Jeep, you can still join everyone else and be part of the downtown fun.

Jeep Jam in Eureka Springs

Eureka Springs is a small town with winding, steep, and narrow roads. Our streets don’t follow a neat grid; they bend around the hills, climb quickly, and even change names throughout the Historic Loop. A lot of that goes back to the way the town developed around the terrain instead of imposing a tidy street grid on it. All of that makes Eureka Springs the quintessential setting for a motor event weekend like Jeep Jam. It’s like an interactive car show built around the landscape rather than a stationary exhibit in a parking lot somewhere.

And our town doesn’t take any pause just because downtown gets busy for a weekend parade. Like I mentioned earlier, you don’t need a Jeep to have a good weekend here. If the trail rides are not your cup of tea or part of your itinerary, there’s plenty of other activities around town for you to explore.

What else? I’d explore Lake Leatherwood City Park, Blue Spring Heritage Center, and see if you can find the magical springs in town that Eureka Springs is famously known for.

Anyway, Jeep Jam sits inside our fall calendar, which happens to be unusually friendly to those who like things with wheels. Jeep Jam gets its own weekend since the trail side of it integrates itself through the Ozarks in a way a standard car show just can’t.

Before Bringing the Rig

The conditions, your Jeep, and your comfort level matter more this weekend than, say, getting some really cool photos. I highly recommend you check the official website for the current guidance before you select a trail to venture off on.

If you’re bringing a trailer, you should probably do a little extra planning. Remember, Eureka Springs – small town, narrow roads, steep grades, built way before anyone towed anything behind a truck. Take care of arrangements for where it’ll park before you find yourself solution-sourcing on Armstrong Street at check-in.

Where to Stay and What About Parking

If you’re anything like the rest of us, free parking can sound pretty exciting in Eureka Springs. Cliff Cottage Inn has its own off-street downtown parking, which is a serious advantage in a town like this, on a weekend like this.

That means you can leave your vehicle in one place once you’re done with the Jeep Jam trail rides and walk right into downtown instead of joining the masses out hunting for parking.

The tradeoff is that this is still historic Eureka Springs. The street is narrow and the parking can be tight or steep depending on where you’re staying. If you’re bringing a lifted Jeep, a roof rack, or especially a trailer, I’d call the Inn before booking and tell them exactly what you’re bringing.
