FESTIVALS IN EUREKA SPRINGS
Eureka Springs has a full calendar of a zillion fun special events and festivals going on almost every weekend of the year except some weekends mid-winter. Special events include car festivals for at least a dozen types of cars (Antique cars, Corvettes, Ferraris, VWs, Classic Cars, Minis, Miatas, and many more), Motorcycle Runs and Rides on The Pig Trail, Antique and Craft shows, festivals devoted to Blues, Folk Music, Bluegrass and Jazz. Visitors can also enjoy Opera In The Ozarks or attend a variety of theatrical events in the City Auditorium including the annual Eureka Springs Indie Film Festival.
May is Fine Arts Festival month with all kinds of artsy things going on downtown all month long. All the galleries downtown are open for Gallery Stroll every Saturday night in May from 6pm to 9pm. Exhibiting artists are on hand to share about their work and some galleries offer wine and cheese. Eureka Springs even has an annual UFO convention for those interested in learning more about alien visitations! Or if you’re into chainsaw woodcarving, we have a weekend devoted to that art form! Did we mention all the marathons, charity-walk runs, triathlons, and other race events?
If you’re a razorback fan, it’s only an hours’ ride back to Eureka Springs and Cliff Cottage Inn is the perfect place to stay and celebrate. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is also just an hour away.
When you make a reservation to stay at Cliff Cottage Inn – Luxury B&B Suites and Historic Cottages, the elf sends out a complete list of everything going on in town during your stay so you will know whether to bring your dancin’ shoes or your hiking boots!
