SARAH BERNHARDT SUITE (one
of our two largest suites) in the historic 1880 Cliff Cottage with
jacuzzi for 2 with shower, king Victorian bed and furnishings, private
livingroom overlooking all of downtown, an in-room complimentary full beverage bar, and
in the morning our elf delivers a full-gourmet breakfast on a silver
tray, right to your door. Private front porch with fabulous view
and deck tucked into 3-story high rock bluff with fountain for a
lovely private outdoor breakfast. Cable/VCR/free movies. Offstreet

STRICTLY FOR NON-SMOKERS, as smoking is not permitted anywhere on the following properties, we offer: THE ARTIST'S COTTAGE SUITES - The latest addition to our Eureka monopoly board is the 1910 arts & craftsman cottage right next to Cliff Cottage which we have named THE ARTIST'S COTTAGE because its first resident was a stained-glass artist as was its last resident. The Artist's Cottage has been magically transformed into two elegant suites - Robert Louis Stevenson and Emily Dickinson. Behind the Artist's Cottage is an individual building all by itself with the glamourously gorgeous Zelda's Studio. See below for details of these. ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON SUITE (strictly for non-smokers) is an Edwardian fantasy created by a magnificent blend of antiques and art from the early 1900s. Guests booking this suite can privately enjoy the whole front porch of the cottage overlooking all of downtown -- a great place to sit and watch the world of Eureka wake up down below while you sip your morning coffee (which the innkeeper imports directly from a boutique coffee plantation in Costa Rica) or a fun place to watch the summer fireflies with a glass of wine in the evening. It's also a romantic porch to enjoy your elf-delivered breakfast! The suite features a king canopy bed, an in-room complimentary full beverage wetbar, Pure-Air Jacuzzi whirlpool and a fabulous misting shower. Accommodates 2 adults. EMILY DICKINSON SUITE (strictly for non-smokers) features an "over-the-top" many-windowed jungle solarium where you can lounge and read some of Emily's poetry while enjoying a non-stop view of the incredible three-story high rock bluffs surrounding the property which are illuminated at night. The luxurious bedroom with its king-size canopy bed draped with shantung is filled with antiques from the pre-Edwardian period. The huge bathroom, enhanced by three 19th-century stained glass windows, features Jacuzzi's latest version of Pure-Air whirlpools, an in-room complimentary full beverage wetbar, and the delivered breakfast. It also has a darling little deck overlooking all of downtown where you can sit out in the evening or have your breakfast outside with the squirrels and chipmunks. The suite accomodates 2 adults. ZELDA'S ARTIST'S STUDIO (strictly for non-smokers) : Our newest accommodation named after the artist wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald is situated all by itself tucked into the woods behind the Artist's Cottage and features a very secret deck with private hottub and table and chairs for enjoying breakfast, lunch or midnight snacks while watching the family of 9 deer in the woods. This was the studio of the original stained glass artist back in 1910 and has been shared with many other artists through the years. We have retained all the original age-old stone walls, massive beams and rafters to create an artistic ambiance. The studio has a fully-equipped kitchen, a whimsical two-person shower, a king-size library bed, lots of fun furnishings and art, TV/Cable/VCR, complimentary full beverage bar. Breakfast is an optional extra to Zelda's Studio which guests order in advance when they make reservations. There is a two-night minimum stay required for Zelda's Studio as the inn's elf has to completely empty and sanitize the hottub after every check-out and this is very labor-intensive.
OSCAR
WILDE'S COTTAGE (also, strictly for non-smokers),
is an individual 1920s art-deco cottage perched all by itself on
a hillside right downtown yet surrounded by woods so you feel like
you are "way out" yet it's just 20 steps down to Main St. and all
the shops. This cottage has a private outdoor hottub with
a $million view! Furnished in antiques from Africa and original
art with a safari theme, you can really get away from it all here.
The cottage accommodates 2 adults. There is
a two-night minimum stay required for Oscar Wilde's Cottage as we
have to completely empty and sanitize the hottub after every check-out
and this is very labor-intensive. Breakfast is an optional extra
which guests order in advance when making reservations for however
many breakfasts they wish the elf to deliver. The
