Winter 2003: An article entitled, "The South's Most Romantic Places", recently appeared in Romantic Destinations Magazine published by Southern Bride, naming CLIFF COTTAGE INN as one of the top six "Most Romantic Inns of the South" along with Hotel Monaco in New Orleans, the Buckhorn Inn in Gatlinburg, TN, the Swag Country Inn in Asheville, NC, the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort on St. Simon Island, GA and Magnolia Springs B&B in Alabama. Sandra CH Smith, Innkeeper / Chef at Cliff Cottage Inn, Eureka Springs, was recently a featured "Chef of the Month" on CBS- affiliate KFSM TV 5.

The station's popular cooking show featured recognized chefs from the area and was televised live from the Northwest Arkansas Mall, Fayetteville, where Arkansas Western Gas Co. had installed a state-of-the-art kitchen for the event. Sandra demonstrated one of the many breakfast recipes from her cookbook, A Cook's Tour of Epicuria — One Woman's Adventures (Capricorn Press, Library of Congress #99-091386) available by direct mail-order from Cliff Cottage Inn, 42 Armstrong St., Eureka Springs, AR 72632 or via email request.


Innkeeper Sandra's new book, A COOK'S TOUR OF EPICURIA.... The 288-page book includes a grand collection of Sandra's original recipes which she has created in four categories from four periods of her life: Scotland, France and Europe, The Southern Hemisphere and Tropics, and American Favorites.
