On March 23, Turpentine Creek wildlife Rescue (just 10 miles outside town) will be hosting the 23rd Annual Kite Festival at the refuge. The theme for this years festival is” Art with An Attitude” sponsored by KaleidoKites of Eureka Springs. Admission to the festival is free, and there will be lots of kite flying along with contests, vendors, and performances by a well known local band, The Skillet Lickers.
